Any real-world decision you make based on our conversations are your own responsibility, and we will not be held liable for the results of these decisions. Payment Options & Refunds
Payment Options
We offer payment options via Stripe and GoCardless.
- Stripe Payment Option
- Stripe is a safe and worldwide recognised payment gateway for purchasing using your Credit Card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
- Stripe payments on invoice will incur a 2.9% Surcharge. This surcharge is not refundable. For more information about fees, please see the NZ Stripe Pricing.
- Stripe payments through the website already have the surcharge included in the amount (there is currently no way to itemise it). If you need an itemised invoice for any reason, email us.
- If you request a refund or cancel an appointment, the refund amount will be less the surcharge and any administrative fees. Please see Appointments and Meetings below for refund details specific to the service purchased.
- GoCardless Payment Option
- GoCardless is a direct debit option for clients who work with us on invoice. It is linked to our Xero, and allows us to automatically collect payments on the due date. Clients will be notified before payment is collected.
- GoCardless is not available for website purchases.
- GoCardless fees are 1% + 40c per transaction
- As GoCardless is for our signed clients, the fees for using GoCardless are not charged extra; Zesty Virtual Assistants will cover any GoCardless fees.
Appointments & Meetings: Rescheduling, Cancellations, missed, and refunds
Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your appointment
- no later than the morning of our sessions,
- or as soon as possible up to 7 days after the missed session, upon proof of emergency.
- The rescheduled appointment time must be within three months of the appointment.
- Appointments may be allowed to be rescheduled up to two times at my discretion, unless there is an emergency.
- Appointments cannot be transferred to another person or entity (unless this is person is for example the companies co-owner or manger)
- Upon proof of emergency, the appointment may be rescheduled to a time within the following three months.
Cancellations and missed appointments
- Cancellations made prior to 3 days before the appointment may receive a refund
LESS- $10 administration fee
- any payment fees for the original payment (2.9%+30c for Stripe; 1% for GoCardless) (for a calculator please see The Fee Calculator)
- Cancellations made between 3 days and 24 hours prior to the session may receive a 50% refund
Less- $10 administration fee

- Cancelations made less than 24 hours prior to the session will not receive a refund, unless proof of emergency is provided.
- Missed Appointments will not receive a refund, unless proof of emergency is provided.
- Upon proof of emergency, the appointment may be rescheduled to a time within the following three months.
coaching sessions
Pick My Brain – One on One session
- I offer no guarantees that the “Pick My Brain” one-on-one session will provide all the answers to the issues at hand, or within the 1 hour time frame.
- Upon booking, please fill in the questions asking what you would like to discuss. Please prioritise your list.
- If it is clear the problem you are stuck with is not within the scope of my knowledge, I can either;
- refund you, less payment and administrative fees.
- we can use the session find you a specialist in that issue,
- we can work on another problem.
- If it becomes clear within the meeting the problem is outside my scope, we will use the remaining time to find someone who is better suited to help you, or we can work on another issue.
Updates & Changes
Last Updated:
- Zesty Virtual Assistants may update the terms and conditions at any time. Any major updates which directly effect our existing clients will be notified through our Newsletter or other communications.
